Operational Assessments
We utilize an approach called The SEA™ – The “Standards of Excellence Assessment” to assess an organization’s environment against industry best practices to determine opportunities for improvement. A SEA™ can also be used to determine a project management maturity, business case value, project requirements, change readiness and other opportunities for improvement.
The primary activities performed during a SEA™ assessment include:
- Collection of data through targeted questionnaires, focus group sessions and interviews.
- Facilitation of brainstorming sessions to validate pain points and determine root causes of issues.
- Recommendation of prioritized actions based on the expected value and effort required to implement.
The assessment tool is modular and flexible for broad or targeted assessment scope. The final deliverable is a very prescriptive action plan including operational scorecards and detailed component-level analyses for each functional area assessed.
